I had the bestest experience taking Sadie's missionary farewell pictures at the Portland, Oregon LDS temple. She's off to serve the Lord in Texas and I could not be more excited for her! It was so special to see all the tulips and spring flowers blooming around the temple.
One of my favorite moments as a photographer is capturing missionaries just before they leave for their service. These sessions are filled with so much emotion, excitement, nervousness, hope, and faith all wrapped into one beautiful moment in time. Taking photos before they head out allows families to hold onto those precious memories and feel connected even when they’re miles apart. It’s so much fun to hear their testimonies and feel their strong faith!
